The Telangana government announced that 47.07 lakh metric tonnes of grain were procured during the Yasangi season. Rs.10,355 crore was deposited in the accounts of 8.35 lakh farmers within three days. The procurement process is complete in many areas, and grain can reach buying centers for another 10 days.
