The iconic Khairatabad Maha Ganapati idol work has started, with the aim of reaching a record 70ft height this year. The idol, made of clay, will be a 13ft taller version of last year’s 63ft idol. The work, which began three weeks ago, is expected to be completed in 10-15 days.
