No Parking Fee at Single Screen Theatres in Telangana

In a relief to cinema audiences, the Telangana High Court has suspended GO 121 issued by the Government of Telangana regarding parking charges at single screen theatres. With this order, theatres across Telangana will not be allowed to collect separate parking fees from moviegoers for now. The decision came after concerns were raised that additional parking charges were burdening audiences visiting cinemas. Theatre owners and film lovers had been closely watching the case, as the rule directly affected ticket goers. The court’s interim suspension has brought temporary relief while the matter continues to be examined further.
