New Owners Buy RCB For 16,706 Crore

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, previously owned by Diageo-owned United Spirits, was sold to a consortium including Aditya Birla Group, Times of India Group (Satyan Gajwani), Bolt Ventures (David Blitzer), and Blackstone for approximately ₹16,706 crore. The acquisition covers both the men’s IPL and women’s WPL teams and is effective post-IPL 2026. The deal is one of the largest in IPL history.
