New Hormuz Route Eases Shipping Strain Amid War?

At least four large vessels, including an Indian‑flagged ship, have navigated a new shipping route through the Strait of Hormuz, staying within Oman’s territorial waters to bypass disruptions caused by the Iran‑Israel conflict. This alternative path helped tankers carrying oil, LNG and other cargo transit a crucial chokepoint that handles around one‑fifth of global energy flows.
