YSRCP leader Gudivada Amarnath has been sentenced to six months in jail in a case related to protests held in 2016 demanding a special railway zone for Visakhapatnam. The case was registered by police at the time. After reviewing evidence, the court delivered its verdict. Amarnath plans to challenge the lower court’s decision in the High Court.
