CJI Slams False Reports Over Student Protest Plea

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant dismissed media reports claiming he refused to hear a petition on police action during student protests. Clarifying that no writ petition had been filed, the CJI said only a representation was submitted and termed the reports irresponsible, false, and a reckless misrepresentation of facts.
