RBI Governor Breaks Silence on UPI Charges

RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said strengthening India’s digital payments ecosystem comes at a cost and someone must bear it. While refraining from commenting on proposed UPI charges, he said it is too early to speculate and that the government’s final decision should be awaited.
