Here’s The Schedule Of World Test Championship: 2021-23

International Cricket Council (ICC) released the schedule of the World Test Championship 2021-23 season just about a while ago. The nine test-playing countries will six series each in this season. Three of them will be home series while the other three will be away series.

ICC also stated that each team will get 12 points for a win, four for a draw, and six for a tie. The teams will be ranked on the percentage of points won.

If a team wins a test, it gets 12 points and the percentage will be 100. If it ties, the percentage will be 50 with six points and if it draws, the percentage will be 33.33 with four points. If the team losses the match, the points and percentage will be zero for that particular game.

The points available per series depend on the number of matches played in it. If it’s a two-match series, the total points will be 24, it will be 36, 48, and 60 for three, four, and five-match test series.

The cut-off date for the Matches will be March 31, 2023. The final will most likely be held in England.

India will play the home series with New Zealand (2 Tests), Australia (4 Tests), and Sri Lanka (3 Tests). The away series will be played with England (4 Tests), South Africa (3 Tests), and Bangladesh (2 Tests).
