Indian star shuttler Pusarla Venkata Sindhu is exhibiting a supreme form right now in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. With back-to-back victories, Sindhu entered the quarter-finals. In the pre-quarterfinals match that took place today, Sindhu defeated the Denmark player Mia Blichfeldt in the round of 16.
Winning the first two sets, Sindhu confirmed her berth in Quarter Finals. With this, Sindhu is just a match ahead in winning a medal for the country. In the match against Mia Blichfeldt, Sindhu finished the match with 21-15 and 21-13.
Sindhu played some great rallies in the game by adding constant pressure on her opponent. Initially, Sindhu looked a little slow but she was never off the momentum.
The quarter-final match will take place tomorrow. If Sindhu wins the match, she is sure to bring a medal to the country.
