India Crush England To Take 2-1 Series Lead

India is in no mood to slow down as it has won the fourth test by 158 runs. After the drubbing it got in the third test, the Indians sprung back in a strong manner with a solid ton from Rohit Sharma which set up the test match.

Set a target of 368 runs, England were bowled out for 202 as the Indian bowlers did a superb job with the ball. The moment England’s overnight batsmen came to bat, their intent was clear as they wanted to save the test.

But a solid bowling performance by Bumrah and Jadeja helped things in a big way. Root was looking strong but Umesh Yadva bowled a peach of a delivery and got Root out.

From there, things just fell flat as the England batsmen were finding it hard. India are leading the series 2-1 and the fifth test will decide if India will win the series or not. Players like Shardul Thakur was a star performer as he took some wickets and also scored two crucial fifties.
