“Dhoni finishes off in style!” This statement brings back so many memories to Indian cricket fans, including the historic World Cup victory in 2011. MS Dhoni has given Team India plenty of wins by finishing off matches with a six.
Of late, that spark has been missing from the iconic player. After retiring from international cricket, Dhoni played last year and this year’s IPL. But fans never got a chance to see that vintage Dhoni until last night.
In the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Dhoni finished the proceedings with a six and sealed the playoff spot for his team Chennai Super Kings. With this win, CSK has become the first team to qualify for the playoffs.
Meanwhile, fans couldn’t keep calm after witnessing that six from Dhoni. The entire social media is flooded with memes praising the ex-Indian captain.
