The arch-rivals India and Pakistan are all set to take on each other on the cricket field tonight. Last year, Pakistan handed over a humiliating defeat to India in the T20 World Cup. The men in blue are looking forward to taking revenge in Asia Cup tonight.
India looks solid with a perfectly balanced side which features the likes of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Though the batting order looks strong, the bowling is a bit on the weaker side. Youngsters like Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan should give strong support to the seniors like Bhuvi and Chahal.
On the flip side, even Pakistan looks solid on the batting front with the likes of Babar Azam, Mohammed Rizwan, Shadab Khan and Fakhar Zaman. The absence of Shaheen Afridi will hurt Pak. Young pacers Shahnawaz Dahani and Naseem Shah should step up if given a chance.
Until now, India took on Pakistan 14 times in the Asia Cup and won eight of those games. Five matches were won by Pakistan. One game ended up with no result. Dubai will be hosting tonight’s game. It starts at 07.30 PM IST. Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar will telecast the game.
