The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team won against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the IPL 2023 final match. With this win, CSK registered its fifth win in IPL equalling Mumbai Indians’ five titles, the most IPL wins.

Earlier Gujarat Titans registered a score of 214/4 in which Sai Sudharshan scored 96 off just 47 balls. He hit eight fours and six sixes in his innings. Also Wriddhiman Saha’s 54 off 39 balls and Shubman Gill’s 39 off 20 made GT score the big 214.
The CSK innings were disturbed by heavy rain and the match got reduced to 15 overs. The target was revised to 171. Mohit got all the important wickets of CSK and he bowled the last over also bringing the CSK’s target to 10 runs off the last two balls to win.
Ravindra Jadeja smashed the second last ball for a six and the last ball for a four to lead CSK to their fifth title. Speaking about the win, Ravindra Jadeja dedicated the victory to MS Dhoni.
