The keenly anticipated finale of the ongoing season of IPL has ended on a heartbreaking note for Sunrisers Hyderabad fans. The Hyderabadi side was absolutely humiliated by KKR in the finale.
After being put in to bat first, SRH got out for paltry 113 which was quickly chased down by KKR. SRH now holds the record for the least amount of runs scored in the IPL finale and it is fair to say that the side couldn’t even put up a fight in the big finals.
KKR didn’t have to break a sweat in the second innings while chasing the score down and this meant that SRH’s season has ended on the worst possible note for the men in orange. KKR completed the game in just 10 overs adding to the misery of SRH.
Nevertheless, SRH has been one of the most exciting and entertaining sides of this year’s IPL with three scores of 250+. While there was a lot riding on the side to put up a triumphant performance in the finals, it simply wasn’t to be as KKR blasted away SRH in every true sense.
