Thanks To Poor Batting, India Loses 3rd T20 Against England

After having made a strong and confident start to the T20 series against England by winning the first two games, the host nation, India stuttered in the third match and ended up losing by a comprehensive margin.

After being put in to bat first England managed to score 171 runs in the first innings. Livingston and Ben Duckett were on the top of their game as they scored runs briskly. However, with a pitch that is conducive for batting, India was expected to chase down the target rather easily.

But the men blue, were very poor with their batting choices and ended up losing the game.

Abhishek Sharma was aggressive as usual at the top of the order, but he did not sustained long enough. Another failure from Sanju Samson and Surya Kumar Yadav meant that the top order got dismissed rather cheaply.

Then there was a brief rescue act from Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel but that didn’t last long enough. Hardik departed after scoring 40 runs and that marked the end of India’s chances.

The end India ended up losing the match by imagine of 26 runs. This leaves the series at 2-1 still in favour of India. This adds emphasis on the fourth match which is schedule for January 31.
