After Virat Kohli Wicket, Crowd Leaves Jaitley Stadium

The Arun Jaitley Stadium, which is usually least populated during the Ranji trophy matches, had all nearly sell out capacity yesterday and today. The reason behind this is the presence of Virat Kohli, who is representing Delhi for the first time in Ranji after many years.

The Delhi Stadium got packed to its capacity to witness one of their own Virat Kohli perform at the Ranji level after many years. Massive crowds were observed at the venue in accordance with the same.

However, to everyone’s disappointment, Kohli put on a disaster in this crucial match. After walking out to standing ovation from fans and spectators, he failed miserably in the first innings as he got out on 6 runs after facing 15 balls.

While everyone expected Kohli to put on a batting master class against a rather non-mainstream railways team, the exact opposite happened with his poor show.

Owing to the poor performance of Kohli, in this match, the large majority of the crowd that had accumulated at the stadium started leaving shortly after his wicket film.

The atmosphere in the stadium, turned very gloomy with the substantial exodus after Kohli’s wicket. The clay boy couldn’t mark a good return to domestic cricket and entertain his folk, after all.
