The most anticipated match of the ongoing edition of the champions trophy 2025 is officially progressing now with India taking on Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium.
During the toss procession today, something very strange and uncanny happened as India ended up setting a long streak, and a rather unwanted one.
India lost the toss today and subsequently Pakistan ended up picking the choice of batting first on what appears to be another slow and sluggish Dubai wicket.
The more important thing to be noted here is that this is the 12th consecutive time that India has lost the toss in ODIs. Rohit Sharma appears to be on some sort of a worrisome string as he has made it a habit to lose the tosses. In fact, the very fact that this is the 12th straight time that we’ve lost has a story to tell.
At the end of the day, winning the toss is a very small part of the game and the prospect of winning and losing depends on the merit of the game. On this note, everyone will be hoping India continues the good form with the bat and thrashes arch rivals Pakistan in today’s game.
