The IPL is never short of unexpected and surprising outcomes, and the same is being established again if we look at the story of senior player, Shardul Thakur.
After having represented several teams, including Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, and Delhi Capitals, Shardul Thakur went unsold in this years, mega auction ahead of the start of IPL. Any team did not show any sort of interest in buying him in the auction.
After coming in as a replacement, Shardul got on his work immediately, and he has now scripted what can be considered one of the biggest comeback in IPL.
From being rejected by all 10 teams in the IPL Shardul has now become a sensation as he has picked up six wickets into two games. On top of that, he is the current purple cap holder in the league with the most number of wickets to his name. He picked up six wickets in the two games that he had played till now, and no other player has picked up more wickets in this season.
From going unnoticed and undervalued in the IPL auction, Shardul Thakur has now become one of the most valuable players by holding the purple cap. These are the kind of miraculous stories that one usually associates with IPL.
