Another Day, Another Loss for Sun Risers Hyderabad!

In the 19th game of IPL 2025 edition, Sun Risers Hyderabad lost to Gujarat Titans, registering their fourth loss in the season. GT won the game by 7 wickets.

GT won the toss and decided to bowl.

First Innings:
Yet again, Sun Risers Hyderabad registered a loss. They have come to bat first but the same story repeated. All the SRH batters continued their failure performance. Abhishek Sharma departed for 18 runs, while Travis Head for 8 runs. Nitish Kumar Reddy tried to impress but the other batters Ishan Kishan, Klaseen, Aniket Verma, Mendis and Simarjeet Singh failed to make an impression. The bowlers of GT displayed an amazing performance. Except Ishant Sharma, rest of them bowled well. Siraj took 4 wickets. Prasidh Krishna and Sai Kishore took two wickets each. In 20 overs, SRH scored 152 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Second Innings:
Shubman Gill scored 61 runs and played a brilliant knock. Sai Sudarshan and Jos Butler could not impress. But Washington Sunder and Rutjerford displayed a great gameplay. Seven bowlers have bowled from SRH. But, none of them were be able to restrict the opposite team from chasing the target.

In a nutshell:
Sun Risers Hyderabad badly need an introspection immediately. They played a total of five games and lost four of them. Except for their first match, they lost all the other games. It speaks volumes of how they are prepared for this tournament. Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Nitish Kumar Reddy are failing continuously. Travis Head and Klaseen are also adding no value to the side. Even captain Pat Cummins could not impress as a bowler. The team lacks a strong batting lineup and solid bowling lineup. On the flip side, GT occupied the second place on the table, with this win.
