The BCCI has announced its annual central contract, allocations, and this list predominantly covers all the players that are expected to feature in the full-time squad setup. The usual suspects Rohit Sharma and Kohli are expectedly at the top of the list.
The grade A+ contract has been allocated to Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, which is always expected. The surprise addition here is Ravindra Jadeja, who has managed to bad the coveted A+ contract at the fag end of his career. Bumrah deservedly gets the A+ contract as well.
Grade A+ includes Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja.
Grade A includes R Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, and Hardik Pandya.
Grade B includes Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Grade C includes Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shardul Thakur, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Rajat Patidar, and several others.
Coming to the salary aspect of these central contracts, here is a breakdown of the kind of money they are paid.
Grade A+ players receive ₹7 crore per year.
Grade A players receive ₹5 crore per year.
Grade B players receive ₹3 crore per year.
Grade C players receive ₹1 crore per year.
These salaries do not include match fees or bonuses.
