Weed early in the day today game between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings is set to be played in the ongoing season of the IPL. The crucial encounter is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat.

However, the latest report from the ground are suggesting that the start of the game has been delayed momentarily due to the raining conditions.

While be patiently wait for the game to restart possibly soon, the latest statistical reports are claiming an interesting story.

In case the game does not happen due to the weather conditions, the outcome will largely favour Punjab Kings. Punjab Kings, who will be qualified for the finals in case the game does not happen for whatever reason.

This is primarily due to the table positions of the two teams as Punjab is ranked higher than Mumbai in the table. They will be given the upper hand in the scenario as they will be qualifying above Mumbai.

So as far as Mumbai is concerned, they will want the game to happen albeit at least in a shortened manner.
