India has always had the rich cultural history of producing some of the greatest chess players of this generation. This tradition started with Vishwanathan Anand, and it is now being carried by the new world chess Champion Gukesh Dommaraju.
Incidentally, Gukesh has created history by beating world chess legend and former champion, Magnus Carlsen in the sixth round of the Norway open.
A viral video clipping of the match between Gukesh and Magnus is now trending on social media, as there is a lot of visual appeal associated with the same.
Incidentally, 19 year old Gukesh from India recovered from a losing position on Sunday and ended up beating Magnus in the sixth game which greatly frustrated the latter. After a blunder committed by Magnus resulted in his defeat, he banged the board out of frustration.
The video of legendary Magnus banging the chessboard after the defeat to teenage boy Gukesh had caught the attention. However, Gukesh maintains his composure even in that testing session. He is then seen celebrating this remarkable win against Magnus, who is regarded as the greatest chess player of this generation.
