FIR Filed On RCB, Karnataka Board: What Next?

One of the most tragic incident related to Cricket happened during the victory celebration of Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the famous Chinna Swamy Stadium yesterday. The stampede that happened at the stadium due to overcrowding resulted in the deaths of 11 people.

After this tragic incident, there were several complaints about the organisational skills of RCB as they were faulted for holding the event within adequate precautions.

Karnataka Police are now called to action as an FIR has been filed against RCB franchise and also the Karnataka state cricket board. The event organisers are also named in this FIR and they will be facing the legal consequences for the same.

This decision comes shortly after the extreme public outrage on the midhandling of RCB. They will not have to face the police action for their actions.

Karnataka government has also contemplated a CID probe into this matter and if that happens, more stern action could follow.
