Andhra Pradesh IT Minister, Nara Lokesh is leaving no stone unturned to put Andhra Pradesh on the global map and he is using every possible opportunity to make it happen.
Incidentally, on the occasion of Sports Day yesterday, Lokesh used the occasion to meet with the players of the Indian national Women’s cricket team, and also the pride of Telugu cricketing circuit Mithali Raj.
Lokesh had a pleasant interaction with the main members of the Indian women team with a program named “ Breaking boundaries with Nara Lokesh” and he was very provocal at the same.
The IT Minister discussed several topics, including breaking stereotypes as women athletes, and also the reforms that are to be brought in this female sporting department. Even the members of the women team appear to be fully intrigued by this conversation with a young and visionary leader like Lokesh.
“From fanboy to forever admirer after today’s roundtable with India’s women cricketers on ending gender stereotyping. Their stories = fire, focus, and fearlessness. Time to turn applause into action for real equality.” Lokesh tweeted after the program.
It needs to be noted that Lokesh had also been batting for gender equality at domestic level in Andhra Pradesh. He took this approach to a new degree at the program last night.
