Is Rohit Sharma Really Leaving Mumbai Indians?

One of the most successful captains in the history of IPL and hallmark player, Rohit Sharma had been in the focal point of several discussions with regard to IPL trade.

After Rohit Sharma was replaced as the captain of Mumbai by Hardik Pandya, there were several speculations about the former quitting the team. At one point, SRH fans pushed the narrative that Rohit must be brought back to Hyderabad for his closing seasons. But Rohit stuck with Mumbai for the 2025 season, despite the oddities.

However, now that this stage is set for the IPL trade with teams preparing for auction, Rohit Sharma is back in the scheme of things as there are a lot of discussions about his possible transferred to another team.

However, the latest clarification from a leading Cricket portal confirms that Rohit is not going anywhere. A source close to Mumbai Indians has reportedly revealed that Rohit is happy with the team and it is decided that he would never play for any other IPL team other than Mumbai.

If that really is the case, then there is very little chance that Rohit could be leaving Mumbai Indians as this team made him what he is today. All the hopes of him coming to Hyderabad are pretty much dashed for the time being.
