What’s Wrong with Team India in Australia?

Over the years, the Indian cricket team had built a reputation of being fearless competitors, even on Australian soil. But that is not even remotely the case, this time as India is getting absolutely annihilated in the Australian series. 

First, it was the ODI series where India got thrashed 2-1. Haven’t it been for Hero performances of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli the third ODI, you might have also gone down the wire. 

And then the significant defeat in the second T20 game that happened earlier today. India was absolutely clueless with the bat as they bundled out for just 125 runs. This was also primarily due to the significant knock played by Abhishek Sharma, who scored 68 from 37. The rest of the batting order was in absolute shambles. 

In the second innings, Australia made a mockery of this chase as they scored this target in just 13 overs. This will go down as one of the humiliating results for India in the T20 format. 

India is generally a good T20 and ODI team as there is a lot of depth in all departments. But that is not coming to help the Indian team as things are not looking promising for the men in blue. Lack of adequate impetus in the batting department is coming to haunt the Indian team big time.
