History Created: India Women Win WC For 1st Time!

History has been created in the recent edition of Women’s 50 over World Cup. India has managed to win the tournament for the first time in the history, and this marks a new chapter in Indian cricket.

Batting first, Indian women scored a big score of 297 runs which looked sufficient on a gripping pitch. In response to this South African women were in the chase for a long period of time. 

But in the end, India held their nerve and put on a brilliant bowling performance in the death over which created extreme pressure on the South African lower order. Subsequently, India comprehensively beat devising nation by a margin of 52 runs. 

This will go down as one of the most significant victories for India in the World Cup and will be remembered for many years. The girls in blue have created history by winning the Women’s World Cup for the first time in the history.

After having beaten Australia in the semi-final, it was always expected that India would go all the way and win the tournament, and that is exactly what has turned out to be the case now.
