The closely anticipated Exhibition match between global football icon, Lionel Messi and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy happened today at the famous Uppal Stadium. This game has gained a lot of attention already, and it could generate the right amount of sporting action.
Unlike the earlier event in Kolkata, which was a massive failure, the ongoing Hyderabad event turned out to be a smashing success. Messi was on the field for a substantial amount of time, and he had a bit of football session with CM Revanth and other individuals.
The visuals of Revanth Reddy and Messi practising football on the pitch while taking penalties and free kick is now going viral on social media. This has turned out to be one of the major sporting events in the recent history of Telangana.
The presence of opposition leader of Rahul Gandhi added to the occasion as he too appeared to have a great time in the middle.
Another interesting observation is that Messi appeared to have an elongated conversation with Rahul Gandhi as the two of them conversed for a fair bit of time.
