John Cena’s Last Match Ends in Defeat, Fans Heartbroken

Iconic WWE superstar and 17-time champion John Cena, who is popular across the globe, has bid good bye to his illustrious wrestling career with an anticlimactic finish as he tapped out in the farewell match against Gunther on Saturday night. Fans across the world are utterly disappointed as Cena lost the hard-fought match which was supposed to be a befitting swan song for his 23 year glorious career. 

Cena’s greatest wrestling rivals like Kurt Angle, Mark Henry and Rob Van Dam were present at ringside along with WWE Hall Of Famers Michelle McCool and Trish Stratus. Even other superstars like The Rock and Kane also sent wishes to the legend ahead of the final bout. 

Cena received a thunderous roar from the crowd as he made way into the Captial One arena in Washington D.C. for his final appearance inside the ring. It was Gunther who had the upper hand for most of the fight, but Cena made a strong comeback with the five-knuckle shuffle and the STF. Cena was able to get an AA but Gunther proved to be too strong and locked in the Sleeper and finally Cena had to tap out. 

The crowd were stunned and disappointed with the result as they gave an emotional farewell to one of the biggest stars in the history of WWE. Fans in India also are shocked with the result as they relived all the memorable moments of this legend. 

A video was played after the match as Cena was left emotional and he decided to leave his wrestling boots in the ring before acknowledging thd crowd. Cena then delivered a big salute to the camera and said, “It’s been a pleasure serving you all these years, thank you,” before making his way back behind the curtains.
