The upcoming T20 World Cup is already proven to be one of the most controversial tournaments in world cricket with the recent exodus of Bangladesh, which refused to travel to India. And now we are hearing that another major country in the form of Pakistan could be skipping the World Cup.
There are media reports that the Pakistan Prime Minister is contemplating the decision of avoiding the World Cup in solidarity with Bangladesh. If that is the case, then the ICC is reportedly preparing to brutally penalise, Pakistan and the consequences can be pretty fatal.
The ICC has reportedly prepared an action plan if Pakistan decides to skip the T20 World Cup as they will be refrain from playing any bilateral series in the future. They might not be permitted to play in the Asia Cup tournament either.
On top of that that ICC is reportedly contemplating the idea of abolishing international player access to the Pakistan, super League, which would be a big blow to the domestic Cricket as well.
If this is the list of consequences that the ICC could be imposing on Pakistan, this could pretty much kill the Pakistan cricket board to the fullest capacity. So it has to be seen what would be the next decision from Pakistan as they will have to be very careful or else the Cricket future of the country will be in huge risk.
