World Cup Madness – This Is Absolute Cricket!

As we had already reported, the ongoing season of the T20 World Cup is presenting a peculiar case where smaller teams are able to post a significant threat to the bigger. This is now reflecting in the game between Afghanistan and South Africa, which got concluded just a few minutes back.

This game between Afghanistan and South Africa is by far the most entertaining game of the tournament till now. This game went all the way to the super over as it provided some elite Cricket entertainment to fans.

In the end, South Africa was the better team today as they managed to beat Afghanistan, but not before two super overs grabbed all the attention in the cricketing world. 

Incidentally, South Africa batted first and scored an impressive 187 runs. In response to this, Afghanistan also scored exactly 187 runs. This warranted the first super over of the ongoing T20 World Cup and it attended in the favour of Afghanistan.

Interestingly enough, this super over also got tied up as both Afghanistan and South Africa scored 17 each. This resulted in another super over, but this time South Africa was solid enough as they could restrict Afghanistan within the target.

This is easily the most competitive game of the tournament this year and they had to put up their very best performance against Afghanistan which is quickly emerging as an elite team of the highest order.
