Great News India: The Destructive Trio Is Back!

As we had been extensively reporting in the recent past, India started the ongoing T20 World Cup as one of the favourites to win the title this year. But things did not go smoothly with struggles at the top of the order and the defeat against South Africa amplified the same.

However, the positive thing for India now is that they have bounced back on track with the game against Zimbabwe last evening. India was at its lethal best in the game against Zimbabwe, and this game also marked the return of several crucial players into form.

Incidentally, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya returned to brilliant, hitting form with the game last night. They all contributed to the team total and played a significant role in the massive target of 256 runs.

On top of that, even Surya Kumar Yadav and Sanju Samson showed good glimpses of batting in this crucial game. 

But the more important thing here will be the return of form for the earlier mentioned trial of Abhishek, Tilak and Hardik. This is the combination that can win the games for India on its own, and it is good to see them back in the groove. 

Now India will face the biggest challenge of defeating West Indies in the next game in order to progress to the semi semi-final, and this is going to be one of the most crucial encounters in the T20 World Cup till date.

Meanwhile, the stage is set for the big game between India and West Indies on March 1, and the winner of this game will progress to the semi final.
