The first semi-final of the ongoing T20 World Cup got completed with the game between South Africa and New Zealand ending in an overwhelmingly one-sided manner.
This was a complete demolition job by New Zealand as they blew away South Africa without traces in this crucial game.
Batting first, South Africa scored 169 runs, and this took them a lot of time and efforts to reach this score. But just when people thought New Zealand would also have to put in a lot of effort to chase the target, there was an absolute madness that unfold.
New Zealand was absolutely brilliant with the bat as their talented opener Finn Allen set the ground on fire. He was very dominating with the fact that he said a new all-time record in T20 cricket history by scoring the fastest ever century in just 33 balls.
Subsequently, New Zealand gunned down this target of 169 run in under 13 overs and have become the first team to qualify for the finals of the T20 World Cup. They will be facing winner of the upcoming game between India and England, which is going to be played tomorrow.
And as expected again, South Africa has choked in the crucial stages of the ICC tournament as they have been eliminated from the title race in the semi-final itself. Their infamous reputation for supersedes them.
