Covid-19 is an extremely sensitive virus and people should maintain personal hygiene while dealing with it. Over the months, the government has been appealing to people to maintain social distance when in public. Ninety percent of the common people are almost following the guidelines of government.
But ironically it’s the leaders who are breaching the norms. In a most funny and stupid episode, a corporator who was tested positive of Corona, has risked lives of many people while leaving to hospital.
Going into details, JD(S) corporator Imran Pasha has tested positive of Corona and a medical team has reached Pasha to take him to hospital. While he was being shifted to hospital, people gathered around Pasha’s residence and seeing them, he waved and greeted. Pasha even took the blessings of his mother and this video is being widely shared on social media.
As this incident invited severe criticism, the Bengaluru city police registered an FIR against corporator Imran Pasha who represents Padarayanapura ward. Pasha was booked under sections 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and 270 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) 271 (disobedience of quarantine rule) of the IPC and the provisions of the National Disaster Management Authority Act.
