Film celebrities always maintain tight security to avoid any disturbances when they step out of their houses. Some stars have dedicated personal bodyguards who serve them for years. Bollywood starlet Anushka Sharma has such bodyguard who has been on her side for many years.
Anushka’s bodyguard Prakash Singh aka Sonu is working with her since the early days of her career. According to the Bollywood media house Zoom, Anushka pays him a whopping salary of Rs. 1.2 crore per annum.
This means Sonu’s salary is higher than many CEOs of various companies across the country. We hear that Anushka doesn’t treat Sonu as a bodyguard and always sees him as a family member. She also celebrates his birthday every year.
Sonu is also often seen accompanying Anushka’s husband and Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli in public appearances. Both Virat and Anushka treat Sonu with the utmost respect.
It is heard that Sonu took care of Anushka during her pregnancy time where she needed to go to hospital checkups amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It seems that he used to wear a PPE kit and take Anushka and Virat to the hospital.
On the film front, Anushka was last seen in the 2018 movie Zero. She will next work for the biopic of Indian Cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
