Harry Potter Star Cast Reuniting, Without JK Rowling

Millions of Harry Potter fans across the world have something exciting coming up now. The cast and crew of the movies are heading for a reunion for a look back on the franchise, except the Author JK Rowling.

HBO announced that ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts’ will be a retrospective to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film’s release. The star cast and crew who will be joining the reunion are Director Christopher Columbus, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Ruper Grint, and many other actors from the eight films.

The Harry Potter reunion will look back at their journey back to Hogwarts and discuss the making of Harry Potter. The final film of Harry Potter was premiered in 2011 and this is the first time the team is on its way to reunite.

While the reason for JK Rowling’s not attending the event is still unknown, she will be featured in archived footage. Rowling’s comments and support to Maya Forstater’s transphobic statements distanced many of her fans from her. Also, many actors from Harry Potter films ridiculed Rowling’s comments and they came out in support of trans people.
