A couple of days ago, Hollywood movie star Will Smith slapped comic legend Chris Rock at the Oscars night, leaving everyone shocked by the unpleasant eruption. The incident became one of the biggest highlights of Oscars 2022. As we know, Smith ostensibly struck the comedian in defence of his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, after Rock joked about her shaved head, which is a result of alopecia, a disease that Pinkett Smith has openly discussed earlier.
While everyone debates over who is wrong and who is right, the internet gets it right this time! An old video of Will Smith where he joked about a bald man in 1991 has gone viral. People who slammed the actor for practising violence are also on fire after checking the old video. Chris Rock cracked a joke comparing Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett to a movie role and it happened on a big stage. And in the viral clip, Smith is seen making fun of a bald man for no reason, having reportedly the same Alopecia condition as his wife, on The Arsenio Hall Show.
The actor is heard saying “The bass player? He got a rule. He got to wax his head every morning. That’s a rule! He follows the rules, man. He follows the rules,” to the in-house band artist. As the camera cuts back to Will, someone from the audience calls him “rude”; “These are jokes, come one,” Will responds. Does this prove the actor is nothing but superficial?! Moreover, it looks like love makes one do all the weird things as Smith lost his temper because the joke was on his wife rather than him.
