740 Covid-19 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours and this has made the death tally to touch 30K in India. Currently the total death tally is at 30,645 and India has gone past France and secured sixth spot in deaths.
Also in another biggest spike 49,310 cases have been reported yesterday. This number is quite shocking and is just close to 50K mark. This proves India is almost near to USA and Brazil which are posting 60K cases per day on an average.
The total Covid-19 cases in India now stand at 12,87,945 including 4,40,135 active cases and 8,17,209 discharged.
The total number of samples tested up to 23rd July is 1,54,28,170 which is 11,000 per a million population.
