India has reported 49,931 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours and this has made the total cases tally gone past 14 Lakh mark. Currently the total cases count stands at 14,35,453, said the Union Health ministry in its daily bulletin.
India took just two days to touch the 14 Lakh as close 50K cases are reporting in a day.
The active cases count is 4,85,114 while the discharged people count is nearing 10 Lakh. So far 9,17,568 people have recovered from the virus. Also in the death tally, India has touched the 32K mark. 708 people have died on Sunday and the total death count is 32,771.
In terms of testing, India has touched new records. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) claimed that 5.15 Lakh tests were conducted on Sunday while the total tests as of July 26th is 1,68,06,803.
