For the first ever, India has reported over 50K Covid-19 cases in a single day. In the last 24 hours, 52,123 new positive cases have been reported and also the total cases is nearing 16 Lakh mark.
The total cases now stand at 15,83,792 while 775 people have died yesterday. The deaths tally too is inching towards the 35K mark and currently the total deaths are 34,968. The active cases count is 5,28,242 and the recovered figures has crossed the 10 Lakh mark. So far 10,20,582 have cured of the virus.
The Union Health ministry bulletin claimed that India’s recovery rate is over 64 percent while the death rate is just 2.77 percent.
Coming to Telangana, the total cases has breached into the 60K mark with 1811 new cases reporting on Wednesday.
