The US President Donald Trump has blocked the H1B visa leaving lakhs of Indian techies in disappointment. But to everyone’s surprise, Trump handed the US citizenship to an Indian software developer and she is the only one among the five people who were given citizenship.
A rare naturalisation ceremony was hosted by the White House and in this event, five people from different countries are made American citizens. The Indian identified as Sudha Sundari Narayanan sworn in as American citizen and later President Trump handed over her the certificate.
About 13 years back Sudha landed in the US and she has been working with an MNC. She is married and is blessed with two kids.
This is really rare event as President Trump has imposing a ban on immigrants to give first preference to local Americans. But many criticised this act of Trump as an election stunt. Now he has welcomed five people as American citizens. Strange!
