T20 star batsman Suresh Raina has pulled himself out of the 2020 edition of IPL. CSK’s CEO cited that Raina exited the tournament due to personal reasons and then there are media reports that his uncle was murdered.
But the whole scoop is said to be something else. We hear that Suresh Raina was not happy from the day one he landed in UAE. In the hotel, he did not have a good room and he is said to have asked the team management to provide a room like that of Dhoni’s. But the management did not do so and we also hear that Raina had some differences with Dhoni and right of the 2020 IPL, the left hand batsman might be put into next year’s auction.
These are mere speculations as no source has confirmed. Yet, Chennai Super Kings’s owner and former BCCI president N Srinivasan has reacted to Raina’s exit. In his first comment, Srini said that sometimes success gets into head.
“The season has not begun yet and Raina will certainly realise what he is missing and certainly all the money (A salary of Rs 11 crores for the season) he is going to lose,” said Srinivas speaking to Outlook magazine.
Pulling out on personal reasons might be Raina’s choice but speaking of money, reveals that something might have happened in UAE and that’s why Raina walked out.
Despite these speculations, CSK fans are supporting Raina and urging him to be back in the team.
