Having lost their jobs due to the COVID19 pandemic, many young & bright people have taken up own businesses to sail through this tough phase. We have seen a woman selling vegetables after she lost her software job in Hyderabad and a man selling fish to make ends meet.
Here’s one of such stories: A software engineer, who’s unhappy with his job left it to take up a different career path. A Twitter post by IAS officer Awanish Sharan says that a man from Chhindwara left his well paid IT job to start his own tea stall and named it as ‘Engineer Chai Wala’. The viral picture on Social Media reveals that the Chai Wala who worked with Wipro in the past is now selling various types of Chai and Poha.
Despite having a decent job and good pay, this honesty Chai Wala was in pursuit of job satisfaction and peace which does not come with just money. Having dreamt of doing his own business since childhood, the IT engineer turned tea-seller wishes to cater ‘best chai’ to his customers. The viral Twitter post has attracted a massive response and several netizens have appreciated him for following his heart for satisfaction and doing what he loves.
