Actress Ameesha Patel was accused of cheating producer – businessman Ajay Kumar Singh of around ₹3 crore. Ameesha Patel today surrendered in the civil court in Ranchi.
Ameesha surrendered herself and she was granted conditional bail right after. Ameesha was seen leaving the court with her face covered. The video has gone viral.
Ajay Kumar Singh accused the actress of borrowing ₹2.5 crore from him promising to make a film, but she did not return the money and she did not even finish making the film.
He accused her of cheating and money laundering and moved the court against her. A warrant was issued on Ameesha Patel on April 6. Her business partner Krunal Goomer was also accused in the cheque bounce case.
