Hyd Woman Hang Herself On Facebook Live

In a tragic incident in Hyderabad’s Nacharam area, a woman identified as Sana committed suicide during a Facebook Live video, unable to bear the mental torture inflicted by her husband and in-laws. The distressing video captured Sana narrating her ordeal, including the revelation that her husband was engaged in an extramarital affair, before proceeding to hang herself from a ceiling fan.

According to Sana’s parents, she had entered into a love marriage four years ago with Hemant Patel, a music teacher from Rajasthan who had embraced Islam and changed his name to Shamsher to marry her. The couple had a harmonious relationship initially, but Hemant’s family did not accept their union.

Trouble arose when Sana discovered her husband’s involvement with Sofi Khan, a student learning music from him. Following the confrontation, both Hemant and Sofi Khan subjected Sana to mental torture, exacerbating her distress.

The police have initiated an investigation into the matter, registering a case and seizing the victim’s mobile phones. They are currently examining the contents of her conversations with her husband and Sofi Khan.
