In a disturbing case that has shocked the community, a 42-year-old stepfather has been arrested for allegedly impregnating his 17-year-old stepdaughter and sexually assaulting her 16-year-old sister. The incident took place in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, and has prompted swift action from the authorities.
According to the police, the accused had married the girls’ biological mother in 2010 following the passing of her first husband. The stepfather’s betrayal of his role as a father figure has been condemned by law enforcement officials, who have taken immediate action to bring justice to the victims.
Upon receiving a complaint from the minor girl, the police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Both the mother and the stepfather have been taken into custody, and further investigations are currently underway to gather additional evidence.
