Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in a unique spiritual journey on Sunday, diving into the depths of the sea to offer prayers at Gujarat’s Dwarkadhish Temple.
Describing the experience as “divine,” Modi expressed a profound connection to the ancient spiritual heritage of Dwarka.
Sharing underwater pictures of himself exploring the submerged city, believed to be Lord Krishna’s legendary domain, the Prime Minister fulfilled a long-held dream of connecting with the ancient past.
Earlier in the day, Modi inaugurated the Sudarshan Setu, a bridge linking Okha to Beyt Dwarka, further enhancing access to the sacred site. Additionally, plans for a submarine service to facilitate devotees’ exploration of the underwater remnants of Dwarka have been announced by the Gujarat government.
