Generally terrorists fight till the end of their lives and will not give up, even if they had no options and rarely we get to see them surrendering. This rarest thing happened in Jammu & Kashmir as a terrorist surrendered to the Indian army and this video has gone viral on social media.
During a joint anti-terrorism operation on Friday morning, 31 year old Jahangir Ah Bhat surrendered to the Indian army. He was carrying an AK47 rifle with him and in the video, we can see the army persuading Bhat.
“Surrender for the sake of God, for the sake of your family. Give him water. Please maintain some distance. Please be quiet. Leave your jersey. Nothing will happen to you,” says an army officer who is not seen in this video but Bhat is seen walking towards the soldiers.
Later the army released another video in which the terrorist Bhat’s father was seen interacting with the officers. Bhat’s father got emotional during the chat and touched the soldiers feet for keeping his son alive
Prior to this a fierce gunfight broke out between the security forces and terrorists in Chadoora.
