Here’s What We Learnt Because Of Covid-19

Covid-19 has shaken the entire world in a few months. Everyone all around the world had to go under a lockdown to avoid getting affected by this virus. But, this situation all brought a lot of bright sides to the people that had to shut themselves in their houses. People started thinking about things they have never given thought to. People have been experiencing things they have deeply wished for once, as the “new-normal” phases us. Here are just a few of such things we appreciate due to the Covid-19 situation.

Less pollution and clearer skies.

For ages we had wanted this to happen, the pollution has reduced 7.8% drastically in over 88
cities across the country only within the first four days of the lockdown. Who would have thought that it would take the entire world going under lockdown that to reduce the pollution? The country’s pollution has gone down so tremendously that this has been the first time in a very long time that we are inhaling fresh, pollution-free air.

The new “work from home culture”

If not for covid-19 we would all still be going to the same office every day. Work from home has now become the new normal and we are all enjoying it as much as we can. From travelling, packing lunch boxes, and dressing up to even coming home late. Everything has changed drastically and it seems that the people are enjoying it. There seem to be so many people that have been so relived since the very first lock down till date. People are able to work at their leisure, save money for travelling and manage work life and their personal lives.

Appreciating life and relationships:

People gather in a balcony of a residential building to clap and make noise with kitchenware to thank essential service providers during a one-day Janata (civil) curfew imposed amid concerns over the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus, in Amritsar on March 22,2002. – Millions of people in India were in lockdown on March 22 as the government tests the country’s ability to fight the pandemic that has killed nearly 13,000 worldwide. A lot of people lost someone close to them or in their alliances due to the covid-19 situation. Maybe due to the fear of life or because of living together, people started connecting to their family and friends. A lot of relations that were dreaded seem to be mended. People started enjoying their times with their families and started coming up with ideas to spend with their weekends at home.

Covid-19 has without any doubt caused pain to a lot of people, but it has taught us the most valuable lesson of life, that was to appreciate it. Take some time of your day and spend it with your parents or children and try being a part of their life. Most importantly, stay safe and take necessary precautions while stepping out.
